This policy covers information we collect through our website, our booking and contact forms, email, phone calls, text messages, and visits to your property.

When we visit your property, we may take notes and photos of the areas you want lit. We use them to design your lighting, prepare your quote and keep a record of your project.

9. Text Messages
We follow the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 501.059).
We text you about your appointment and your project only after you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts.
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
Message and data rates may apply. How often we text depends on your appointment and project.
We never share your mobile number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.
10. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires:
Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 3 years
Customer and project records, including designs and photos of your property: for as long as we support your installation, and at least 5 years after the work is finished, for tax and accounting
Emails: up to 3 years
When we no longer need information, we delete it securely or remove anything that identifies you. You may ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to what the law requires us to keep (see Section 12).
11. How We Protect Your Information
Our Site uses HTTPS encryption for everything sent to and from it.
Our business systems are protected by passwords and access controls.
Only people who need your information to do their work can see it.
We review our security practices and our service providers regularly.
No method of sending or storing information is 100% secure. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires, including under the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).

Florida residents have rights under the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171) and the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. § 501.701 and following).
Bella Luce is a small business and does not meet the size thresholds that make the Florida Digital Bill of Rights apply to us. We still give every Florida resident these rights:

Our Site and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
